Mt. McGinnis and Mt. Stroller White shine in the pastel colored light of an Alaskan winter. Taken from the Moraine Ecology Trail, not too far from the Mendenhall Glacier parking area.

The rugged ridgeline leading up to the summit of Mt. Stroller White shines in the late afternoon winter light, with the peak's summit in the upper right hand corner just barely obscured by a colorful band of clouds. Notice how the glow of the clouds lends its' colors to the tree covered mountainside below the peak.
